A Female Perspective

I wish you’d contain me
like a balcony railing, so I can stand near the edge and feel free

Water

The rip will get you out
The waves will get you in
Paddle, wait, catch, and enjoy the ride!

There isn’t really much more to it than that

There are two forces within me
Dancing a beautiful dance
Where one leads, one follows
Trust is the music and the world is my dance floor

Everybody wants sunshine
I’m alone in the storm, shouting truth into the wind for no one to hear
And alone, I hear nature’s beautiful answer

Three men guard a female heart
Ensure that it is free
Protect it from all enemies
and that’s how it should be!
